Abby is 5!

Abby turned 5 last Saturday. We had a great day celebrating our baby girl. We spent the day with Grandad, Alyssa, & Ryan and then we went out that night just the 4 of us to continue celebrating. She chose to eat dinner at Chapps and then go next door to the Yogurt Patch for dessert.

Not sure what all this is, but

She got a high chair, pack n play, and a new stroller for her babies. She immediately got to work taking care of all her babies.

We are looking forward to continuing Abby's birthday celebration this weekend with more family and friends!

Camp Paw-Paw & Dee!

During July, the kids and I went to my parents' house and spent a week having fun with my parents, Marcia, & Mallory. While we were there Nathan went to golf camp every morning and we played. Every afternoon was spent at the pool followed by fishing. Nathan really enjoyed fishing with Paw-Paw and using crickets for his bait.

Abby had so much fun swimming every day. She got really confident in the water this week and is doing a great job swimming.

Nathan loves Mallory so much. I asked Marcia one afternoon if someone could drown from love because he just loves, loves, loves cousin Mal.

Houston Trip

Two weeks ago the kids and I went to Houston for the weekend. We went to celebrate Mallory's 2 1/2 birthday. Marcia decided to do a party for Mallory's half birthday since Mal's bday falls right in between Christmas and New Year's. It was a fun, but hot and steamy Houston weekend. Mallory's party was at a park near their house and everyone had a great time!

After the party, my dad and I took Nathan to the San Jacinto Monument. Marcia lives about 10 minutes away from the monument and the Battleship Texas. Nathan really wanted to see the battleship, but it was way too hot for that. So we'll have to go back to do the ship. We really enjoyed the monument, though. I hadn't been there since 2nd grade. So it was fun to go and refresh a little of my Texas history knowledge.

Golf Camp 2010

Nathan just finished his first summer golf camp for this year. They were scheduled for 4 days of golf, but ended up getting rained out on day 2. The other three days were great! At the end of the week Nathan came in second place overall for the camp. We are so proud of him!

Swim Lessons for Abby!

Well it's that time of year again-SWIM LESSONS! This has been the year for Abby. She has just done a great job learning to swim from the very first day this year. She's come a long way since last year where every day involved screaming and crying. Way to go Abs!
