Wedding & Schlitterbahn

Last month, we went to Georgetown for Clay's grandmother's wedding and then went to New Braunfels for a long weekend with our Georgia friends. Yes, that's right, Clay's grandmother got married. She is 86 and her new husband is 80. It was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. We got there early on Friday morning, settled into the hotel, & went swimming. After swimming we did lunch and then shopped the Round Rock outlet mall. It's a good outlet mall if you are looking for one.

I LOVE this picture of the two of them together. Nathan is teaching Abby how to play his DS.

That night there was a dinner for all the family at a steakhouse in Georgetown. Abby and Nathan were the youngest people there. They had a good time being silly and the dinner and I managed to sneak some pictures.

This was about 2 seconds before they both fell out of the chair!
Love my baby girl!

Abby was quite the entertainer during the reception. Here she is working the crowd.

After the wedding we drove down to New Braunfels where we met up with the Cmers. It was great to see our friends and just spend time relaxing together.
Sunday morning Jennifer taught the kids how to play Shuffleboard.

After the shuffle board we got ready and went to eat lunch in Gruene at the Gristmill and then floated the Comal River.

Monday morning we got up and went to Schlitterbahn!! It was a fun day in the sun for everyone. They have a ton of kid areas that Abby enjoyed and Nathan enjoyed doing slides and tube rides with Clay.
Everyone ready to head into Schlitterbahn!
Abby was very upset here because Clay would not let her take her purse in to the waterpark. She kept insisting that they had tables in the park and it would be okay to take it in. The purse stayed in the car.
